Parking citations may be issued to the same vehicle every two hours.
-
Always double-check for signs before parking: Many areas indicate parking is allowed (or NOT allowed) between signs – look for both signs.
-
Where parking is allowed, all four tires must be completely off the pavement (including sidewalks) – parking with any tires on the pavement/sidewalk is a violation.
-
Where parking is allowed, all vehicles must face the same direction as the flow of traffic on that side of the street.
-
When unloading or loading vehicles, a licensed adult must stay with the vehicle at all times – do not leave the vehicle unattended.
-
Never park across the end of a driveway, even if it is your own property or property which you are renting.
-
Parallel parking is the default parking method. Angled parking is only allowed where signage or painted lines indicate.
-
Never park in a handicapped space without a valid handicapped license plate or placard.
-
Where parking is allowed, only one vehicle is allowed per parking space.
